Deciding on a flooring company can be tricky. We get it! It is a lot to consider after all. And while we have years and years of experience within the Nashville community, sometimes we want our work to just speak for itself. From carpet to hardwood to acoustical ceilings, we offer a wide range of floor installation services with a large catalogue of vendors making the the options virtually endless.
Some of the project we are most proud of are those that Nashville businesses have allowed us to complete for their facility. We work one-on-one with each client and find a product that both fits their need and looks great within their commercial space. We take each client seriously and tailor our services to exactly what they want.
Here are five places in Nashville where you can see our handy work. They are also some of the products we are most proud of:
Country Music Hall of Fame
This project was completed about 2.5 years ago and has since been one of the largest projects Ozbun-Hessey has ever completed. Our crew installed carpet, hardwood and acoustical ceiling throughout the entire museum, which took about 45 days and covered over 7,000 square feet. Specifically, the hardwood is sanded end grain wood and was sealed with Woca Oil, a popular choice for many hardwood floor installations.
MTSU Science Facility
The science facility opened its doors back in the fall of 2014, but not without the help of our acoustical ceiling installation team. The Country Music Hall of Fame might have been a large project, but this one takes the cake. For both looks and functionality, the acoustical ceiling covered 20,000 square feet and the wood paneling covers a span of 6,000 square feet within the facility. The project itself took the better part of the year and now houses the chemistry and biology departments.
First Baptist Church
This project was on a much smaller scale than MTSU or the Hall of Fame, but is still one we take much pride in. First Baptist Church decided to use their existing floors instead of installing new ones. This is a common trend among older churches and other commercial spaces. It’s a chance for the older architecture to show off some of its natural beauty. The sanctuary was covered in outdated carpet, which our crew removed to reveal the hardwood flooring. After a sand and finish, the floors were as good as new.
Vanderbilt Recreation Center
Vanderbilt’s Recreation Center is a great way to showcase how we can customize your floor installation experience. The building received about 1600 yards of brand new commercial carpet. And while that doesn’t sound fancy, the carpet has a little something extra — the Vanderbilt logo. Our team used a waterjet cut to create the logo before installing the carpet. This job not only gives space a new look, but brings some school spirit with it.
Climb Nashville
This is another great example of our team customizing floors for floor installation. When Climb Nashville opened up their west side location, Ozburn-Hessey worked side by side with the folks at Climb Nashville to install a floor that was safe for climbers and still looked aesthetically pleasing. Our crew of floor installers provided the carpet and the hard labor while the team at Climb Nashville provided their own padding system that they created themselves.
As you can see, we have some great projects under our belt. And these are just the beginning of our portfolio. If you are interested in learning more about our acoustical ceilings, carpet, hardwoods or other floor installation services, contact one of our crew members today!
