It’s been a great year at Ozburn-Hessey. And like everyone else, it’s always fun to look back on the best parts of the year. Whether it was impressive ceiling projects like the Middle Tennessee State University’s Rhea Atrium (hyperlink), floor installation projects like the Country Music Hall of Fame (hyperlink) or fun personal highlights, Ozburn-Hessey has had a memorable year. And while the floors and ceilings are what make the business grow and prosper, we decided to talk on the lighter side of things and reflect on the staff’s personal favorite projects and pop culture moments of the year. Prepare to remember a little, and laugh a lot:
“A new headquarters (new house).” – Marc Pelfry, Kathie Adams, and Jeremy Sprout
“A new outlook on life – a lover/not a fighter.” – Oren Sprout
“The completion of three of the largest projects in Ozburn Hessey History.” – Valarie Spence
“NO MORE CAR PAYMENTS!!!!!!!!” – Linda Rippetoe
“The rediscovery of a 12 year old personalized pen.” – “Scottie” Adamczyk
“Rowing his new boat into the sunset.” – Stan Eatherly
“The renewal of bachelorhood.” – Joe Poag
“New teeth/not dying (was a heartbeat away from a heart attack).” – Hugh King
“Britney Spears’ Comeback (The release of Britney Jean).” – Matt Poag
“The discovery of Just for Men.” – Mark Poag
As you can see, the staff at Ozburn-Hessey has a lot to remember. From grand flooring projects to the discovery of hair dye for men, there’s a lot to be thankful for in 2014. With years of ceiling and flooring experience in Nashville and greater Middle Tennessee, Ozburn-Hessey has been able to grow and prosper into what it is today – a reliable and personable floor installation team. 2014 was a great year, but we also have a lot to look forward to in the future. Bring it on, 2015. Let’s see what you got!
