Question: How long will it take to get the materials in?

Answer: Although it typically depends on the product, Ozburn-Hessey can get materials in as quick as 2-3 business days. Custom types of flooring could take as long as 4-6 weeks.

Question: How soon can you install? 

Answer: Ozburn-Hessey can typically install as quickly as the day after they receive material in their warehouse.

Question: How long will the installation take? 

Answer: The installation process time depends on a lot of varying factors such as material arrival, type of flooring (carpet or hardwood) or complications. 

Question: How quickly can I walk on the floors after installation? 

Answer: You can walk on most floors immediately following installation. If this is not the case, Ozburn-Hessey will alert you at the beginning of the project.

Question: Will this new floor take away the stench the old floor had? 

Answer: Typically, yes. However, sometimes the smell can go as deep as the subfloor. If this is the case, it is up to the homeowner or a general contractor to fix.

Question: Are there any special maintenance instructions for my floor? 

Answer: Whatever floor you chose, special maintenance instructions will be given to you, the owner, at the completion of the project. In addition, you will receive a one-year labor warranty on all floors.
